Intensive Behavioral Modification Board & Train
Having a dog with Behavioral issues is not easy. It's hard for you to live your life the way you want and should. You might be dealing with an aggressive dog that seems to want to eat everyone around it. Maybe your dog is so fearful it won't even go around the family or your friends. You may be dealing with a dog that wants to try to show you whose boss by jumping all over you, mounting you or even biting you. If this sounds familiar, just know you aren't alone. Once these types of behaviors begin, they are hard to stop or modify if you're not given the right tools or knowledge. Thats where I come in! My 6 - 20 Week Intensive Behavioral Modification Board & Train can help you and your dog get back to the way its supposed to be; the both of you living happy & harmoniously together. I say 6 - 20 weeks because we don't know how long the rehab process can take for these more intense cases. I'd rather take longer than to send home a dog that isn't ready.
PSA: Board and Train prices will be increasing Jan 2023 & the amount of spots is dropping down to 1-2 dogs at a time. If you sign up for a 2023 B&T before December 2022, you will be grandfathered in at current prices!
4 months and older
We believe that almost any dog can be trained, regardless of their age, breed & temper.
What Will My Dog Learn?
When your dog joins our Board & Train Program they will be receiving Intensive Behavioral Modification by composing these elements:
-(Jumping, Waiting at thresholds, Biting, etc.)
-(Grooming/ Veterinarian Training)
-(Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Place, Drop It, etc.)
-(both humans & dogs)
-(sounds, places, scents, etc.)
What Tools Will You Be Using?
Dogs communicate through:
Body Language, Energy, Space, Touch & Sound. Those will be our primary tools.
The next step is figuring out which "external tools" I will be using on your dog. Being that I am a balanced trainer, I use tools that are going to best suit your dog. I will never use a tool on your dog if they do not need it.
Towards the end of the Board & Train, I will tell you which tool package best suits your dog & their needs.
So, How Will I Know What To Do When I Get My Dog Back?
Your Intensive Board & Train comes with at least 3 mid sessions & 1 go home session. At the mid sessions we dive into the basics, what your dog is learning, the tools I am using, how you can start communicating better with your pup & help you learn what you need to start changing as well. Then the go home session is a more intensive session where we go over everything in home or at your main place of concern so that things can transfer even better in the environment. It is my goal for you to feel comfortable & confident as the heart of the pack. I want you to be able to enjoy your pup and their training once they come back home.
