Growing Up
My name is Aubrey, I am the Owner & Founder of Limitless Canine! I’m a Northern Nevada Native and have lived here for 26 years. Growing up, I was involved in many activities around the Reno/Tahoe area including: 13 years of singing & dancing at Dancin' Performing Arts & The Reno Irish Dance Company, Marching & Concert Band at Galena High, 4-H through Leg of Lamb, Softball at Galena High & Reno Fast Pitch. Other than dogs, music is a huge passion of mine. My family is very music oriented which is where that came form. I sing and play guitar and I am able to play close to any instrument handed to me. I've always done things a little different, even with music. Most musicians learn how to read notes & play pieces that way, I don't. I'll listen to the piece a few times and play by ear (and put my own spin on it). It's a bit unconventional but it works, and that unconventional way of doing things is how I ended up where I am at today, for which I am grateful for. I taught myself that not every human learns the same way, and when I applied that to animals, it made sense to me as well. You can't expect every animal to learn by cookie cutter training. You have to understand what makes the animal want to work, and how they work.
My Career
My entire life I have loved animals, and always knew I wanted to end up doing something with my future involving bettering their lives but I wasn't sure how I was going to do that. Over 6 years ago I began my journey in learning about Canine Behavior, Body Language, and Training. While putting myself through school & trying to pay the bills, I got a job at a facility here in Reno and I never looked back. I fell in love with being able to help not only the dogs lives but the humans lives as well. Being able to help create a Harmonious relationship between dog and human is a rewarding experience for any Canine Behaviorist and Trainer. I gained my knowledge and experience by working under a couple highly skillful and brilliant Canine Behaviorists and Trainers. I like to spend some of my free time reading books, watching videos, listening to podcasts & attending seminars to broaden my knowledge and skills to offer an even better experience. I am a firm believer that you don't work every day when you are doing what you love. Over the years I have created strong bonds with the dogs I work with, and I have built strong and trustworthy relationships with the owners as well. Being able to trust someone with your fur baby can be difficult, which is why I do everything I can to ensure your dogs safety as well as make sure they have the best experience in my care as well. As I stated above I believe that just like people, no dog is the same. They all learn different, act different, and need different things. I am here to help you figure it out and piece it all together.

I worked at On Command in Reno, NV as a kennel tech. I really enjoyed working with the dogs, but I didn't realize I wanted to work with them as a career just yet.
I began working at K9 Games Reno. I didn't know much about Behavior or really anything about dogs other than the basics. I had a dog that had some good obedience on her, but it was here I really started learning about Canine Behavior & Psychology. I began working there as a handler, and did some of the front desk work. I ended up working my way up to a trainer and in the later years/ months I became one of the lead trainers. While working here I realized this was the career path I wanted to be on, so I stopped persuing my degree in Criminal Justice & kept training dogs full time.
I began working for Real World Canine. I was the training manager there for two years. My skills and knowledge grew as a trainer & leader.
I opened Limitless Canine right when the Pandemic started getting crazy. I began with Private Lessons, Limitless Exploration Days and Board and Trains. When I started, I didn't know what to expect because of the COVID outbreak but I am sure glad I did not let it stop me. Around December I became busy enough that I had to stop offering Limitless Explorations, and eventually I didn't have enough time to offer Private Lessons anymore. Only a few trainers in town were offering In Home Board & Trains. It quickly became a higher demand due to people getting dogs while they were working from home. I made it a mission of mine to truly help my clients understand their dogs better & help them communicate in a way their dog would understand, trust and respect.
I attended the Bevill Dog Behavior Shadow Program. I always admired the owner, Brad and is ability to help the dog and the human with minimal tools. Going to his program truly helped me grow even more & offer my clients the best experience possible.

Captain America
Hi Everyone! My name is Captain America and I'm a 6 year old German Shepherd. My favorite things to do are: swim, paddle board, go on Trail Rides with mom & the horses, play fetch, make new friends & learn new tricks. I would have to say my favorite trick to do is either "Roll Over" or "Play Dead". I help Aubrey with Rehabilitating other dogs by bringing a calm and friendly energy to the mix of things. She brings me along to help other dogs feel more comfortable and to show them the ropes or to have a trusty side kick when she gets the more difficult pups. I look forward to meeting you & your dog and making a new friend!

Drax
Hello, my name is Drax! I am the newest member to Aubrey's little family. I'm 9 months old and I was adopted from the SPCA in November 2021. We aren't sure what I am yet, mom did a DNA test on me and we are waiting for the results. I bring a fun vibe to the group with my puppy behaviors. I learn things super quick and I'm told I am a really good boy. Stay tuned on more updates on me! We are still in training stages. I can't wait to meet you and your pup!
